Volunteer

Volunteering with Teens Uganda gives you an opportunity to work closely with children, teenagers, and young adults through community programs, outreach activities, and youth engagement projects. Volunteers support activities that promote education, health awareness, mentorship, environmental action, and skills development among young people in Uganda.

People from different backgrounds and professions can contribute their time and knowledge in meaningful ways. Volunteers may support teaching activities, health education sessions, sports and recreation, youth mentorship, community mobilisation, office support, or vocational programs. The organization welcomes individuals who are willing to listen, learn, and work respectfully with local communities and young people.

Volunteering is also an opportunity to understand the daily realities affecting youth and communities across Uganda. Through direct involvement, volunteers build connections with young people while contributing to programs that encourage responsibility, teamwork, confidence, and participation in community development. Every volunteer becomes part of a wider effort to support youth wellbeing and positive social change.
